How it works
The standard difference excludes the starting instant. Inclusive counting adds both endpoint dates, which is useful for stays, schedules, and event windows.
Using the result
Business-day results exclude Saturdays and Sundays but do not automatically remove public holidays. Add holiday adjustments separately.
Important limitation
Choose the counting rule before comparing results; inclusive and exclusive totals commonly differ by one day.
